Search Engine Marketing Book Review

Doing some research today on my lunch break I found myself at BooksaMillion with a few marketing books and what not that I was going to scan to kill some time.


The first book I opened was a new book by Catherine Seda titled "How to Win Friends and Influence Spiders". I didn't expect much but I have to say it was a great book that surprisingly I couldn't put down. I ended up engrossed in the book and didn't even realize I had sat there for nearly an hour.



It is a rare occasion that I will buy a printed book as I prefer the online world for my information but this book came with me and I will read it all the way through. Catherine's book really didn't present any NEW information that I didn't already know but the style that it was written was simply entertaining and informative and a great reference manual for a begginer to online marketing or commerce.



I highly recommend it to a newbie......I have included the Amazon link to the right if you want to check it out and read some other people's reviews.

From Ebay to Where??

Hey there.....as you can see I am using this blog to chronicle my leap into the world of internet marketing. I am a 38 year old guy who has been pretty successful during my working career however I suspect that I am like many of you....always looking for something more. Searching for that "thing" that will get us out of the daily grind.

My wife and I currently have a pretty successful Ebay business that is generating approximately 500 bucks a month in profit which is decent but not what I am looking to generate. We could do more but not with her still working her day job.....our business model is successful but not scaleable. She makes handmade handbags and is only capable of manufacturing so many of the darn things in a given week working her 40 hour a week job. We are going to expand our Ebay offerings shortly and dabble in the drop shipping world. That will make a great set of posts on here all in itself.

Ebay has been very successful for us and we by no means intend to give it up...quite the contrary as we are going to expand however what I am after with Internet marketing is to find the scaleability and the potential for unlimited income generated with the various means available.

It should be interesting.

It begins

I have been searching for a way to communicate my thoughts and experience to the online world for both the benefit of all that want to succeed on Ebay as well as myself.
